Με λεωφορείο υπάρχουν δύο διαφορετικές διαδρομές για να φτάσετε στον Άγιο Ιωάννη. Η πρώτη διαδρομή είναι μέσω Πορταριάς ανεβαίνοντας το βουνό τα Χάνια, όπου βρίσκεται και το χιονοδρομικό κέντρο. Εκεί θα κατηφορίσετε στην ανατολική πλευρά μέχρι την περιοχή του Δήμου Μουρεσίου. (55Χλμ.) Η δεύτερη ακολουθείτε την διαδρομή προς Τσαγκαράδα. Περνάτε τα χωριά Μηλιές, Ξουρίχτι, Τσαγκαράδα, Μούρεσι και φτάνετε στην διασταύρωση προς Κισσό. Αν έρθετε με Ι.Χ. υπάρχουν και πιο σύντομες διαδρομές κατά 10 χλμ. συντομότερα.
